Social event

For the Social event, a bus transfer from the meeting site (Molecular Biotechnology Center) to Fontanafredda (Serralunga d’Alba, Cuneo) will be organised. We will take you to the Langhe UNESCO World Heritage Site of Piedmont. At Fontanafredda, you will enjoy a surprising journey through the majestic nineteenth-century cellars considered among the 100 most beautiful in the world, amidst large oak barrels, barriques and concrete vats, which are still used today for the great red wines of the Langhe, particularly the Barolo.

After a wine tasting, the Gala Dinner will be served at the Restaurant Garden del Lago where you will be able to taste typical Piedmont dishes, accompanied by selected Fontanafredda wines. You will be fascinated by the atmosphere of the Liberty style pavilion of Garden del Lago, the surrounding park, and the nearby swan lake.
